# Brighton & Hove Taekwon-Do
Brighton & Hove Taekwon-Do offers ITF Taekwon-Do classes across Hove and Brighton, serving both children aged 5-12 and adults and teenagers aged 13+. With six classes weekly at five different venues, they provide accessible martial arts training regardless of fitness level or prior experience.
The school distinguishes itself through its genuinely inclusive approach. Rather than assuming students arrive fit or flexible, instructors adapt teaching to individual goals and abilities, allowing people to progress at their own pace. New students receive dedicated one-on-one attention during initial classes to ensure they settle in comfortably. This philosophy extends to children's classes, which balance structure with fun whilst building self-esteem, confidence, and core values like respect and discipline alongside physical development.
Training combines diverse elements—patterns, pad work, fitness, sparring, and self-defence techniques—ensuring variety across the 3,000+ techniques available in Taekwon-Do. The curriculum is deliberately structured to help students reach their full potential without the pressure of long-term contracts.
Flexibility underpins their offering. Classes run on weekday evenings and weekends, with term-time and year-round options. Crucially, there's no minimum commitment; students choose between pay-as-you-go or monthly memberships with family discounts available. The one-off joining fee includes all necessary equipment, removing financial barriers to starting. This combination of accessibility, varied training, experienced instruction, and genuine community ethos makes them an exceptionally practical choice for martial arts training in the area.
