The academy specialises in teaching BJJ as an effective self-defence system that requires no striking, making it an ideal martial art for younger learners seeking physical confidence without the aggressive nature of combat sports. For adults, the programme emphasises sport submission ruleset training across both Gi and noGi disciplines, with options to supplement learning through their sister school's Krav Maga classes for enhanced self-defence capability.

All coaches are fully insured and registered with the British Martial Arts and Boxing Association, whilst instructors working with children hold enhanced DBS checks and complete safeguarding training. Classes run Monday and Wednesday evenings plus Saturday mornings, with a new kids' term commencing 20th April. The coaching team is led by experienced instructors including Coach Abbie O'Toole and Coach Adrian.
